Abstract
Il presente contributo intende indagare su quale sia lo stato dell’arte rispetto al tema del turismo, secondo un approccio storico. Dando per appurato che il fenomeno turistico, almeno in Italia viene studiato per lo più utilizzando un approccio economico e sociale si darà conto in quest’occasione di quello che è stato prodotto in ambito prettamente storico, dal 2012 al 2022.

Abstract
This contribution intends to investigate what the state of the art is with respect to the theme of tourism, according to a historical approach. Taking for granted that the tourism phenomenon, at least in Italy, is mostly studied using an economic and social approach, we will give an account here of what has been produced in a purely historical context, from 2012 to 2022.
